A born and bred local Gail was a wife, mother of three and operator of a small business when a car accident on New Years Day 1987 changed her life. After the obligatory nine months in the Spinal Unit, Gail returned home to an adjusted life and the challenges of raising a family. Like everything in her life, Gail faced many obstacles full on and her experiences are testament to her no nonsense approach to life.
Gail has a long history of involvement in community organisations including a life-long interest in horse breeding and horse-racing, no doubt inherited from her father, a Gordonvale Jockey Club stalwart. Sharing her experience with others was the primary aim of her many years as a Facilitator for Paraquad and she has improved the lives of many people by teaching them the "tricks of the trade". Her main area of expertise is financial and we are privileged to have such a competent Treasurer.
Gail's dedication, thoroughness and expertise won her a Pride of Workmanship Award in 2001, and she just keeps getting better. When she's not hanging around a stable Gail is a veritable walking bible of GST and MYOB.
