ILSA is governed by a volunteer Management Committee consisting of an executive core being the President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, and a Clinical Care Advisor as well as up to five other general members.
ILSA was established with a mandate to ensure the majority of board members have a lived understanding of the support services we provide though we welcome the valued input of other industry representatives with key business skills.
We believe having the skills and experience of people with lived experience, or their family members, involved in the Management Committee ensures that we maintain our client focus under good governance practices.
